Crimson Red/w Black interior.

New Owner. Yesterday I purchased a 135i with sports package. Red with black interior.

Paid a bit more than I would have liked and a few extra miles, but Over all, I am very happy with the purchase, especially the Color Combo.

Price I paid was 18500 and Car has 76K on the clock.
All paperwork was provided and car has been between Cali and VT since 2009. Front and rear bumpers were replaced, HPFP was replaced as well as a few other things. Don't have all of the paperwork infront of me so i'm not to sure about everything else.
I look forward to being a productive member of this forum.

My other car is a Toyota Spyder MR2. Now that I have this I can finally pull that off the road and finish my build(Thread below)

Congrats! Beautiful color. And Passport is great - I bought my car there, and they do all my service. Really good people.

I see you also own an MR2. I used to own a 2002 - Forest Green with Oak top and interior. Loved that car. When I got my 135i, my brother took the MR2. It's still going strong.

Thanks! Passport made the experience very pleasant. I test-drove the car last Friday and after work yesterday my GF and I went to see it again and decided to bite. I work In Falls Church, right off seminary so you may see it around.

I love my MR2, It's a 2002, Black on Black Top(original was the Oak/Tan) along with Tan interior. Just got up to about 193K on the original engine and clutch and can't afford to not have a fully functional vehicle right now so I took the plunge. Years ago I had an '84 533i that was in pristine condition. I loved that Car. It was Gray with a deep Red interior.
I've been in the market for about a year now for "A car" and always came back to the 1 series. Some of the other cars I looked at included the FR-S, Volvo C30, Audi TT, and Veloster Turbo... But none of those kept my interest. I prefer cars that you don't see all that often and that have something Special about them like the 1 series now being discontinued and/or being the "predecessor" of the 2002.

Regardless, I am Very happy with my purchase and am reading up on upcoming maintenance and any issues i may run into.

Check if the water pump was replaced, I had mine for a few days before it took a dump on me. It was under cpo so it was easy, but if it hasn't been replaced yet be ready.

I will have to check the Water pump but i know the HPFP was replaced and all maintenance is up to date. I will check the records again once I get home from work this afternoon.

Heres a few more pictures.

I am VERY happy there is absolutely no curb rash on any of the wheels. Once the Runflats go by I'll switch away from them.

Also, looking at the service records, It appears that this was mostly a CA car, potentially military/DOD worker owned which gives me peace of mind. It looks like it made a few long distance road trips from coast to coast as service records in the summer time showed up in Vermont then back in CA for the winter.

And for those that didn't go to the other link, here is my other car

I think that red is a great, nice combo. I recently bought one with 68k on it and I love driving it. Wait until the mod bug bites you.

Haha i'm already looking but i am holding back. I need to build out the engine of my other car and install the turbo kit i've had waiting for the last year and a half.

its really stupid, I look at stuff every day, all day, but I never buy anything. I did pull the trigger on a cat back exhaust. It is going to be shipped out today and I am so excited. I had a hard time spending money on something that really just changes the way it sounds but I had to. I can't wait.

Nice.

My next car will be red or SO(because it looks red in lower light conditions). Never owned one before. Admired a Misano red TT-RS on the road the other day.

Welcome and congrats. I love that ///M steering wheel. It's one of the nicer options for our car. That and the wonderful sport seats which are also part of the sport pkg.

Thanks everyone!
However, I have been without since last thursday.
Driving to the gym with my friend I started to have some bad misfires. The problem came and went and once I spoke to the dealership we agreed I would find a way to get it back to the dealership the next day.

That night i ran codes and came back with random misfires on cylinders 4, 5 and 6. Cleared the codes and they came back. Did some research and found a few things but decided to not touch the car myself and rather leave it to the dealership to sort out.

Got the car there and they hooked me up with a rental, a 2014 535xi Fully loaded. Thing is sweet but is HUGE in comparison to the 1er and my MR-S. I immediately parked it and picked up my MR-S to drive for the weekend.

Earlier today I found out what was wrong; It is as followed(from what they have told me):
The Low Pressure Fuel Sensor went bad. The effects of this made the injectors on cylinders 4,5 and 6 go bad which in turn fouled up the spark plugs.

Because it occurred two days after the purchase this is being taken care of free of charge. BMW is replacing the fuel pressure sensor, all six fuel injectors, and all six spark plugs.

My experience up to this point has been absolutely phenomenal with Passport BMW. However, I truly hope that after this I have no more issues for a while.
