Legend! Just as well it didn't develop into a high speed chase....Lewis would be half way to WA by now!

What the hell is 'Hoon driving'? I mean, the story makes it clear by context what it is, but 'Hoon driving'? Where did that come from?

Being a high profile motorsport personality - doing burnouts on public roads is just uncall for.

While I don't condone Hamiltons actions, I think it has become a real issue in Victoria as to the definition of "hoon". Seems to me the police are using this as a "catch all" if they cannot think of anything to charge you with or don't like you.

Hmmmmm
the economics don't stack up - total cost to TX payer will far outweigh the fine cost to LH. Plus the lost opportunity cost of not catching a violent criminal while this circus was under way. I guess they would if he lost control and hit my daughter though - JD |

Its mainly an Australian term, its basically used to describe driving like a jack ass...donuts, burnouts, street racing, and even just driving an excesively loud vehicle.

Post alleged hoonability
Still no footage anywhere, but I did hear on the news today he did a donut and then snaked up the road. That being the case and the amount of cops outside Albert park I guess you could say he was asking for it LOL The cops I saw outside gate one, they looks so board I recon they would have impounded some kids bike at the smallest sign of sideways action. |

His race didn't go much better, needs to learn to calm to the hell down! That said, I think we all forget that he's still a kid and I too would probably act the fool
in his shoes! |
