I see quite a few VINs with destination for Port Kembla, Auckland, Melbourne, Fremantle and Brisbane; all in Australia. I think these are all W&W moved on their ships around the globe.

Very curious? If you sort by Location, only 6 cars out of 691 total show up as being delivered to Port Hueneme CA. This is SOCAL's main port, only six cars? One of which is mine.

My car came via K-Line. I know of quite a few cars that came via K-Line as well. It does not show up on the WW site at all.

I would assume the rest of the NA 1M's were delivered by K-Line (I'm assuming, based on Delrin's post above).

Anyone who wants to do this, just go to:

1) http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp
2) Click on "All Users" on the lower right corner, under "Track and trace"
3) Enter WBSUR9 under Cargo ID and hit track.

If you don't see the "Track" button on the bottom of the screen, your search won't work. For example, if you follow the link above in Redadair's post, you won't get the Track button and your search will fail. You have to go back to the home page and start over to get it to work.

This is at last decent and clear how-to-use tracking info (Dackel-style). So far nobody at BMWNA-dealer is able to provide it . MyBMW is showing my last year delivered car at 'finishing touches', and apparently W&W New York delivery up to dealer New York delivery took 5 weeks!?

Does anyone know how to confirm the production date (release from the Leipzig factory) without having to beg & chase anybody at BMW NA?

total, which country got what (ie US was going to get 1000, but I seee it is 740), has production ceased, we in SA now apparently got some extra etc
