$4k for manual swapping to auto final drive?!

i was quoted $4400 for whole OsGiken with auto final drive. (final drive being purchased new from bmw for 1800)

are there any dealerships/junkyards that might have the auto final drive for cheaper?

I would say that's a good deal considering you are getting brand new auto final drive. keep in mind with the manual the final drive is welded and it needs to be unwelded. I think most service shops charge somewhere around $800 plus 3-4 hours of labor for the pumpkin install. you should give turner motor sports a call. there is another vendor that carries OSG for our cars. mini madness http://www.mini-madness.com/osgikenl...5iand135i.aspx

Any brand XYZ LSD that is going into an automatic donor or manual donor the LSD is the same. Your donor diff is what makes a big difference. If you let us know what you currently have in your car that would be a big help.

You've made a very wise decision with the OS Giken LSD! They sponsor our race car as well as the entire Turner Motorsports fleet of race cars and make the best differential around!

So I got one installed 2 weeks ago. It makes the car feel totally different. Only thing I can say is for normal driving it is very aggressive. It's still in the "break in" process, but I autox'ed it this past weekend and was amazing. I had turner install it
