Wrecked / crashed 1M on a danish used car parts site
I'm sorry if this is a repost.
Came over this 1M on a company web site that sells new and used BMW parts, named KOED. It's hard to link correctly to the page that contains this car, but i you go in here and click on the 9th car (E88 M Coupe), you'll fint it. |

Was it someone track car? Maybe it was wrecked on the track, but I'm not sure. I can only guess since I see racing seats in the front. Either way, whatever it hit and did (flipped more than likely) it was very violent. It looks like maybe a few wheels, the seats, some other interior pieces and the shark fin is the only things to salvage from it. Even the tailpipes are bent to hell!

wow that's painful to look at. How is the rear window still intact? It looks warped.. I spy racing seats, wonder what happened exactly; besides the obvious.

Given the amount of intrusion past the crash zones and into the driver's compartment, I'd hazard to guess that the driver is lucky if he survived. My god...almost everything is damaged on that car.

Wow! Thats a wrecked 1M! I don't even think the owners manual would be salvageable from this!
There is actually a descent amount of survival space, I would not be that surprised if the driver only had "minor" injuries (i.e. non life threatening), but still probably very banged up. Roof crush can look worse than it is, but since there is some space on the passenger side, that is a good sign. Looks like an engine fire as well? Hard to see, but looks like a lot of melted stuff in the engine shots. Hope the driver made it. |

This thing looks like it crashed with something big like a truck or a train even! I am sure the driver has bad injuries or maybe not even made it, there is not enough space left at that side for head protection. Well, reminds us what can happen anytime when you are out in a vehicle.
