Convertible top to side window noise

I'm getting some noise from my convertible top at the point where the side window touches the gasket on the top. It only occurs when I go over jagged roads where there are a lot of bumps so the whole car shakes, there is no sign of air or water coming in so it is not a bad seal. If I had to guess, there is probably some kind of lubricant or coating on the rubber gasket that allows it to slip along the window well. After some amount of time and use the coating wears away. Of course if I cracked the window ever so slightly I do not get any of this kind of noise. I do not really recall that I got any noise like this when the car was new, so I am guessing that there's some kind of a coating that I might be able to apply in order to stop this rubbing noise from happening.*

Any recommendations?

Any BMW dealer sells it.

I don't believe the US dealers carry Gummi Pflege anymore but you can easily order it here:

I apply it to all rubber seals at least twice yearly.

Also, make sure the windows are closed in the right order - rear windows first to avoid misalignment.

See, as I understand it, the gummy pflege sold here/anymore isn't the same thing.

People often use krytox or sil-glyde on seals, but they all leave a residue.

I've heard that in Europe, a rendered tallow stick is sold that can be applied. That sounds more like it, as it would be more of a thin dry coating.

I've also just read that dry lubricant from liquid wrench is used in some GM factories.

My concern is that the convertible top seal is different than usual smooth rubber door seals, which is why I'm more concerned. If it was just the door seal, I wouldn't even have the question.
