Better pics of my 128i
Finally was able to get some decent shots with a point and shoot camera today... I think they came out much better then the phone pics.

Black grills are nice and all... but get rid of that front plate and those fog lights. I did that and personally I think it looks great. Pic attached.
I wish I had your rims though. and beautiful color bud |

Thanks guys. I really don't plan on any mods at all other than rear fogs and accessories. As for Xenons, thats the only option I had to pass on because I couldn't find a car with every option in it that I wanted that wasn't silver or grey. I have done some reading on the topic of upgrading to Xenons, but it seems like it's more hassle and expense then it's worth, and quite frankly the Halogens in this car are much better then the ones in my previous Bimmers. To keep them nice and bright, I'll just change the bulbs annually. Much cheaper and less headache in the long run.

You're right around the corner from me! Did you just pick that one up? I got my 135i just a week ago and I love it.
Worst part is Wakka that New Jersey's law is front and back so today I have to ruin the look of my car to put that ugly yellow plate on... |

OP, your car looks geat. Montego blue, I presume? I just picked up my CPO 128i a few weeks ago from Open Road BMW in Edison. I too had a hard time finding the car that I wanted with xenons. There just aren't many 128i's out there with xenons. Then again, I probably could've kept looking but for what I paid for my car, I can live without the xenons!

I'm in central Bucks County. I work in Princeton, however, so I'm no stranger to driving far! We should get a few local 1er owners together, even if just for coffee or something. It would be nice to meet some of the other local enthusiasts, especially now that the weather has started to turn and there isn't a lot going on in the car world in our area.

I had that going on mine, it was useless at more then about 10 feet away No matter how good a picture looks on the display of a phone, they just don't translate to a larger size. Congrats on the new rides guys, enjoy them!!! you will have many days with many smiles! |

I once saw on a BMW in town who had a reflective vynal license plate on the front of their car, it was the correct numbers and such, and i'm 100% certain if a cop was looking close enough to notice it, the person would get a ticket, but from more then 10' away, looked perfect.
i don't recommend trying this unless you have balls the size of oranges. however, if you do choose to do this, good weight savings!!!! |
