Z4 Coupe Photos Released!

Like the look of it from every angle except the rear...seems like there is something missing but can't put my finger on it.

I love the look of this car, even though I am not a big fan of the z4 roadster. After watching the Monterey Historics, it reminds me of an old American racing coupe. (Like an old 1965 Cheetah, for example).

On second thought, I think it looks more like a 240Z. At least the side view anyway. This is a GOOD thing, from my point of view.

So this is actually a concept car still, let's hope they bring most of the elements into the final production car. I have hope since this design doesn't seem too radical.

Yes the rear looks more like an old Cheetah race car. I know the rest of the car looks nothing like the Cheetah, but the rear reminds me of it.

I think that the rear end looks great from the side view (looks very short and compact), but the rear end from the rear view is not as good. I don't like the overdone taillights (where have we heard that before on a BMW?) and all the cutlines could be toned down a little bit. I like the overall shape, but Bangle always has to go all crazy with the cutlines.

Very nice. The straight line of the front of the hood bothers me a little... maybe in a darker color it wouldn't show as much.

Yea I dislike it too, I think most do.. but european pedestrian safety laws changed all of BMW hood design unfortunatly.... No more kidney grills integrated into the hood anymore

I really like the car; guess my next BMW will be a Z4 3.0 coupe. I like the rear 1/4 view, and the side view. It looks very classic.

Looking good! Anyone know if it will be out this year or will we have to wait until 2007? I'd think they'd put at least some distance between it and the updated roadsters just announced.

It does have a dual exhaust, the ///M version will have the quad exhaust (check the other Z4 thread floating right now, it has pictures of a similar black coupe except it is the M version)
