I called German Performance Service and they quoted $600.

I wish we could find a place in the Boston area to do a group buy for this....

I have heard group buy rates as low as ~$300 in some areas

let me know! One of these shops would probably love to do a group discount and just rip through like 10 of our cars over a couple days really efficiently and make a killing

I asked GPS about a group-buy deal telling them i had at least 10 guys willing to buy in at ~$400 and they wouldn't bite. They said if youre a new customer, they will offer 10% discount but they arent going any lower.

I think most shops will shy away from the group thing mainly because it is time intensive to get this done. It is roughly 30min per valve not to mention taking off the manifold and then buttoning it back up.

Does anyone know how hard it is to at least look at the valves? I'm curious how bad mine are, but don't necessarily want to commit to cleaning if I don't need to.

Why dont like 5 or 6 of us get the particle blower and just spend a Saturday doing it to and slamming beers?

I read a thread a while back with all the parts required with instructions.
