Just Moved from Oklahoma (temporarily)

Hey guys, I just came up to be a Field Engineer on a new pipeline construction project and am staying in Downingtown, PA until October. Any fun car stuff happen around here? I see lots of nice cars and definitely lots of nice curvy roads...

Also, I've got a question. My steering wheel has recently started deteriorating dramatically. And not just the "faceplate" or whatever you want to call it. I'm talking about the leather along the entire backside is literally flaking away and leaving black chunks on my hands. I'm looking at 3 options. Upgrade to M3 steering wheel, upgrade to BMW performance alcantara steering wheel, or get it re-wrapped somehow. Thats where you guys come in! Anyone know someone or someplace that can re-wrap a wheel in tri-state area? Is that even a thing? Would obviously be cheapest option. I'll have to get a picture up later.

Welcome!!
You will not be happy going cheap on the re-wrap. There are a few decent places that you can go to. My suggestion would be to buy a used one for now so that you won't have any down time.

You should join us at Pocono Raceway in May 8th!

Oh I'm not looking to cheap out, just if I could get a good result by wrapping, it would be cheaper than a new wheel, which would be more desirable if it produced similar results. And I'm driving my company vehicle 90% of time up here so I actually can afford to have the downtime. Know any good places to do a rewrap? Or are you saying ALL rewrap options are the cheap option?

You can check with Steve at Lux Motorwerks in NJ. He is the owner and is a perfectionist. He does SEMA cars and has worked on a bunch of my friends cars. Very nice guy. That is one option.

Another one would be Everlast Auto Interiors in NJ as well.

Best of luck!!
