Wrapped my steering wheel trim...

Seen all the cool wrap jobs on the forum.. finally got around to doing mine.. and just finished up the steering wheel trim which I think really finishes up everything nicely.

I used 3M Di-Noc. Amazing stuff... if anyone is thinking about using this material I highly suggest a blow dryer/heat gun.. a little heat goes a long way on this stuff.. so be careful..

Thanks to AndyM for this helpful DIY:

enjoy the pics!

Looks great, hardNock!

Did you remove and re-glue the M sticker over the vinyl, or did you wrap around it?

Thanks guys!

I used a pick tool and carefully pried the ///M sticker out. All the adhesive stayed on the back of the decal. Then I just popped it back in..

I ordered the CF fabric as well.. but now I'm glad I went with the Di-Noc. It is definitely more durable and easier to maintain (i.e. easy to clean).

Love the Di-Noc material, but don't love the wrap personally. Don't think the contrasting blacks go very well imo.

Thanks for sharing pics though, I was wondering how this would look. You did a clean job.

What matters is that you like it though. So enjoy!

I love it! Want to try but not sure that mine would turn out as well...

Having wrapped my own interior in DiNoc, I can tell you that the pics here don't do it any justice. It looks much better in person and the colors don't contrast as much to the naked eye. I'm rather happy with the way mine turned out after being skeptical about the mod for many months.

Itanius is right.. the pics do not do the Di Noc look justice. The material looks MUCH better in person.. the color of the CF vinyl matches the steering wheel exactly.

I'll try to get some nicer pics taken and I'll post them when I can.
