Bavarian Technics BMW Scan Tool - Clear ALL your Codes, Including Warranty CODES!!

N54Tuning is pleased to announce we are carrying the Bavarian Technics BMW Scan Tool. This is MUST for anybody with a tune

On SALE for $287.00

A true "game changing" product, the Bavarian Technic allows connection to the BMW ECU for reading/deleting extended codes and high speed data logging. Unlike normal OBDII code readers with limited access the Bavarian can read all of BMW's hidden codes, and over 600 data logging parameters. Finally you can see everything BMW can before going in for service!

Also deletes the feared warranty and tuner manipulation codes. Compatible with all N54 platforms (MSD80 and MSD81).

The Enthusiast cable allows access of up to 3 VINs and is intended for those looking to scan a small number of cars. For professional packages with unlimited VINs please email me.

What cars does it work on?

Another possible dumb question but would it be obvious if specific data was deleted? Would it look like there was inofrmation missing that should be there?

135i racer, its plugs into your ODBII port under your sterring wheel and then plugs into the USB port on your laptop.

SLO, no there will be no record of deleting data. If you throw a code and then clear the code, there is no record a code was thrown.

Looking to order as well but I still have a question that was not answered in the other thread. Does the enthusiast version also clear all codes to include the warranty codes?

I have looked at the other thread on here and the thread on e90post and have not seen a definitive answer on whether the enthusiast version will clear everything. Shiv has the Pro version, which we know will do it, and that is what he has experience with on e90post. I just need someone to say specifically that the enthusiast version will clear all codes to include warranty codes and then I will be ordering one immediately.

I have read about this extensivley on multiple forums as well, and the only difference I see in the 2, is the amount of vehicles that can be used with it. Go for it!!!

BTW, the title of this thread has the info you wanted word for word...."Clear ALL your Codes, Including Warranty CODES!!"

I appreciate all of your answers but I will go ahead and wait for the vendor to chime in and give us all a guarantee. I don't like to make assumptions when purchasing anything.

BTW, according to Bavarian Technics' website the pro version also allows access to the "Coding and Command console that are not supported with the Enthusiast version". Not sure what that means but I will guess that it allows others to activate items such as the bluetooth module and alarm.

So that means any CEL codes can be deleted.. would the ECU still throw a code after... and would you have to delete it all the time? Just asking or would you have to fix whatever is causing the code? Same goes for the ECU codes..

You would need to fix whatever is throwing the code as it would re-appear. Saying that, codes sometimes happen as a one off, so those would be gone permanently depending on circumstances behind the code.

Did that help?
