What hardware and software do you need to make the track overlay and track time, like in your vid ? Haven't seen that before, but it's really cool. Me want |

So nice! Maybe i will switch from VO to AW!! I love Spa, i was there with my 135i, on Public days, so nice to drive! I don't know my lap-times, but i made eau Rouge also with 160 km/h, such a nice feeling!

Still, this is directly comparable with the M3 video, which also has R888's in a wider section, stoptech brakes, a chip-tune, exhaust, etc. Honestly I think the M3 with those mods can run Spa 10s faster than what that "Professional" guy did. I also had a failing HPFP which terminally failed in the session after the one in the video. I had to drive 700KM home at 90-100KM/h - not fun! This video is from the day before at the Nurburgring, where you can see that HPFP started failing (around 7m50s) and stopped my fun: To capture the data I was using RaceChrono on a nokia phone, with a 5Hz Qstarz BT-Q818X Bluetooth GPS Receiver. I then used RaceChrono2AVI to make the telemetry videos, and then inserted them as PiP using a video editing software. Quote:
As above, the car was not stock, the year before I had stock motor with bilstein PSS10 - the car understeered so much! Anyway, I also ran 3m4s (same as the M3) with that setup, including a passenger and full tank of fuel: I hope in the 1M with R888 or PSC, and better compound brake pads that I could run at 2m55s. |

I happened to be at Spa last week (just watching, unfortunately), and snapped a couple of pics. Lots of other impressive machinery there as well.
