Does healdight removal REALLY require front bumber removal?

So I am going to do the OSS headlights, but since I live in an apt complex I am not really excited about removing my front bumper and leaving the car like that for a week. Does the front bumber really have to come off?
Thanks

yes. you cannot take them off unless the bumper is off, it is physically impossible.

Take the bumper off, remove headlights, put the bumper back on. Not a big deal. Removal and reinstallation is pretty straightforward.

Might want to grab a weather-resistant car cover though, as you will have holes where your headlights were.

Maybe not the lights, like if you mean the bulbs, but I just did it last night (removed the whole housing) and I am pretty sure you have to remove the bumper. If you did it without removing please share.

This was a pretty good description http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...t+bumper+cover.

Actually thankyou for correctiong me man. I meant to say short answer yes. Ive recently had surgery and am pretty doped up on meds sometimes so I'll ill blame that for me writing the wrong thing. But yes the bumper had to be out of the way to get the lights off no way around it. But I think I was trying to tell him that even though it needs removed its pretty easy. Its more time consuming getting the lights back out and in probobly vs the bumper cover

Ha yeah agreed the lights are way more annoying to get in/out than the bumper off.
