Nope - should be safe for both and are marketed that way as well.

Is there any typical mileage you should do seafoam at, like on a consistent basis? I mean I can believe that the seafoam alone wouldnt get it all if its at like 50k miles with nothing done up till then.

As Seafoam is 50% machine oil (what they call "pale oil"), is should produce lots of blue smoke just burning off the Seafoam. Carbon deposits being expelled would produce a black smoke, much like an over-rich diesel engine.

Like ethanol? Ur dumb. Seafoam is a cleaning agent designed for engines. U should see how much smoke comes out by using this treatment. It burns off all the carbon deposits. All gas companies add additives to their fuel.

While facing the engine with the hood open, look to the right of your air box. You will see 2 round diverter valves connected to you charge pipe with ribbed hoses that route back to the turbo intake tract. On top of each diverter valves is a small vacuum hose. The two vacuum hoses lead to a y-connector and from there a single vacuum hose runs to the intake manifold. Remove the hose running to the manifold from the y-connector. Use this hose to suck up the Seafoam (or spray in the aerosol seafoam) into the manifold. You will need to remove the air box to get at the y-connector, which means you will need to remove the cabin filter and black tray that sits over the rear of the engine. Keep the RMPs around 1200 while injecting the Seafoam so the engine produces a good vacuum from the manifold and doesn't stall.

Doing this is pointless...Let me tell you why. I used some Mopar Combustion chamber cleaner when i bought my car as i had some left over from another project. A little while later i bought a setup and pulled off the intake manifold to do the walnut shell blasting. Since the vacuum line is close to the back 2 cylinders thats all that got any of the cleaner. It did take some of the carbon off, Not much so it did work to a point but only on the back two cylinder ports. Until there becomes a way to get the fluid to ALL 6 ports evenly, using the vacuum line for the DV valves is not very effective.
