Another boost leak????!!!!

Hi , I have a 2011 135, running Cobb st 1 aggressive . Less than a month ago my charge pipe blew, I have 32757 miles. Yesterday the yellow half engine light went on, the car is runing normal I guess? Not like the first time when it blew. I scanned for codes and P2C57 appeared ... How could I check for leaks, is it a boost leak? The charge pipe is new!!!! Is the Cobb too aggressive on the pipes?? Arrghhh! To much crap.. Thanks!!

Did you replace it with another stock charge pipe? These plastic pipes tend to not hold higher boost application. 1m are known to blow the stock charge pipe at even at stock boost levels. I would suggest getting an ER or equivalent charge pipe since you have a tune.

The dealer changed it under warranty.. Stock.. They gave me warranty.. But I'm a little worried about going back to dealer because they might look for a tune, 2 pipes in less than a month??

You need to move to a charge pipe engineered for your application. The stock one is not it.

I uninstalled Cobb and scanned again.. No codes found! I guess I'll run it without a tune and if something is wrong the check engine light will pop again. Any recommendation or just change t pipe and call it a day? What if is not pipe?

I would save for an aftermarket charge pipe. At least that's one less diagnoses you have to go through when finding the cause behind a boost leak.

How much longer is your warranty?

All codes are cleared during any flash with an AP. You may or may not have the code come back depending on the source of the issue (a really small leak may not be enough to throw a light at stock boost levels). Feel free to contact us if we can help with anything.

Just a thought... Do you think your diverter valves are holding the increased boost?

Unfortunately, whether it is a small leak or weakness on the boost control side, it might not appear at stock boost level... yet
