I'm thinking of doing a few autocrosses this year - never done one before (I suppose it also helps to have a car, too). I didn't register but I'm thinking of heading down to the May 23 one to watch.

1. I'm into photography and can take photos for those of you driving

2. I'd love to ride along for a few runs to get a feel for what it's like. Would anyone be willing to let me ride along?

first off, just make the commitment and sign up for the next event. i promise after the may 23 event you'll wish you had signed up. i was hooked before i even finished my very first run. i think it was around the 3rd cone when i was asking myself "why the hell didn't i do this sooner??" then i went off course. rule #1: stay focused.

second, i'd love to get some good action photos! but heads up, if you wanna be out shooting on the course, you'll need someone else out there with you to be a spotter. don't want you getting hit by a stray bimmer...or a mini (i know you're lurking out there audra)

and you can def come out for a ride with me if you want

Haha nice - thanks man. Now I just need to find that 15 minute registration testing loophole to sign myself up for all the other AX's this year.

Mr Artmasterx is a pretty talented dude. His dubs work well, but it is the driver that's the majority of the equation, by a long shot.

You'll be able to passenger with a bunch of folk, and as for snapping pics, you'll defintiely need a spotter along with you, and remain well off of the runways (as Mike said).
