Installed AMS FMIC.
If anyone needs help, I now know the process pretty well. I can write up a process but I forgot to take pictures. Amazingly, I only had one screw left over in the end!! Also, 1000 thanks to AMS. For the super tight fit and space, the kit fittment is A++. Also, it looks great through the performance bumper.

I have a 09 with an AMS ic and unless the 2 bolts that attach the unit in are located diferent, I don't see how hard to be make it work. The end thanks inlet/outlet are 3" with standard connectors. Probably you will have to get other couplings to make it work. On my case I have an active autowerke charge pipe and the 09.5 uses different after intercooler charge pipe , so I have to buy a 3" pipe piece and some couplings to make it work.

Yeah the FMIC is deffinitly a pain in the ass. I was trying to trim that plastic piece to keep the stock look then I said fuck it and ended up just cutting it. And getting the danm clamp on the turbo side sucks you need like small girly hands to get in there.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I have the Performance front bumper and wondered if any of the FMICs fit reasonably well since the Performance bumper is not the exact same dimensions as stock. I'll be looking at the AMS when I'm ready to buy.
