Going in for service

Quick question:

i am taking my '08 135i in to the dealership tomorrow to fix a few recall problems. I have a JB3 2.0 PnP installed in my car, which i am taking out tomorrow and i will be using my BT Scanner to clear any thrown codes. However I believe i heard on the phone that they need to upgrade the car's software...is this going to affect my JB3 when i put it back in on tuesday??

Help please! Terry!

Terry is not allowed to post on this forum.

However, the JB3 is compatible with all versions of the software including the newest.

Yes, use n54tech.com/forum for a friendly discussion about anything you want to know. You will like that forum once you try it and terry is a regular there. Of course, email is best to reach t. HE responds in no time.

You will be fine but may want to update to the 7/4 firmware. What version do you have?
