Dackelone, a Belgian collector with one of the biggest BMW die cast model collections has now received the MotoGP 1M of Minichamps (1:18).
He pointed out that production is limited to 504 copies.

Ok guys... I just talked to Max and he tells me the 1M 1:18 models are in!!!


Here is the deal, I have decided NOT to handle the sale and delivery of these models. I realized that handling 300+ models is just too much for me to handle in my spare time. Sorry.

Dackelone: so these cars will have shadow line trim and matching body colour mirrors? the ones on the Minichamps site and eBay have CF mirrors, extra spoiler, and chrome trim

I didn't see this post until just now. I just emailed Max (fingers crossed). Can you reply with the post that tags everyone since this is a limited run. At least that way they will definitely see that this is happening

I've told everyone BEFORE to subscribe to this thread(!) - so they will receive the latest news - when I post it. The problem with the notification thing... is it doesn't work for all user names. (bc of the special characters or numbers within the user name) But I will make an attempt at it.


Btw... Max is offering these 1:18 scale models in ALL production colors. ie: VO, AW, BSM, and even in Atacama Yellow, Monte Carlo Blue and Mamba Green, Individual colors - since BMW built a few cars in those colors.

Max has a special batch of US spec(trim) models. ie: shadowline(black trim) orange headlights, etc


Just tell Max what specs you want on your model. He can make adjustments. He aims to please. But he rather not get too involved with customizing the cars.

Thanks Dackel for setting this up. Much appreciated, as are your insights on all the other threads.

If you're in the US, it should be obvious, Max hasn't "caught up" with the exchange rates... so it's much cheaper to buy directly online, especially if you're buying multiple.

unfortunately it seems the only way to get US-spec cars are through Max....as i have only seen euro-spec cars online for sale.

Through minichamps.de but as IEDEI mentioned only euro spec and no AW from what I could find.
