WAYS TO PLUG OR REPAIR AND FILL FLAT TIRE ON SITE???

I want to be able to switch up to 19 or 20 inch tires, meaning ill need to use non-runflats. My question is, with no room for a spare, what are the solutions if i get a flat int he middle of nowhere. I know there are solutions you squeeze into the valve stem or whatever to plug holes... but that wont refill your tire... are you shit out of luck and waiting for BMW assist?? or are there like air canisters like with bike tires that you can use to fill the tire with air if you get a flat... any knowlege on this topic would be greatly appreciated

You can buy an electric pump that will work on a dc current from the cars cigarette lighter, however, the methods to fix the flat tire itself, such as sealant, etc.... are not full proof.

The slime kit i have has a compressor that plugs in the cig lighter..

I just plug my Kubota tires with a $2 tire repair kit, available at Walmart if you are willing to venture to the darkside. I think that is almost as good a fix as a standard tire repair shop would do. Then just reinflate. The tough part is finding the leak sometimes; maybe carry some H2O and a little dish soap.

BMW has an "M Mobility System" for around 1400SEK (175USD). I ordered this one for my winter-wheels (non-RTF). Contains a small electric kompressor, tire-fixiing-fluid, and some jar or something. This is whats shipped with the M-cars (non RTF) instead of a spare tire... If its good enough for an M5, its good enough for my winter-tires!

I have used this stuff for years and it works great. The best part is that it is PERMANENT fix unlike all of those slime things. I have never taken a vehicle in for a tire repair before. The best part about it is that you don't even need to take your tire off. Just roll the car forward until you see the nail (or screw, etc), pull the nail out with some pliers, prep the hole with the handy filing tool, and finally push the patch-plug through with the glue on it and reinflate. It takes all together about five minutes to do. After that, you just drive the car for a few miles to allow the patch to seal itself.
I used to seal up my truck tires all the time because of where I lived (a lot of construction) and never had one fail.

Would you say that a system like this is a safe replacement for a spare? It would be nice to carry this in the trunk, instead of a spare.

which is what I am planning to do...this way i don't have to worry about whether or not that slime stuff works, you can always rely on a spare...

i have not "physically" confirmed it, but the leatherz guy ensured me that it does fit...the only reason it would not fit is if the e90 325i brakes were bigger than those of the e46 M3, which they are not...so there is no reason for it not to fit...

acutally not a stupid question at all...

e90 325i brakes:
front-11.8 inches
rear-11.8 inches

e90 330i brakes:
front-13.0 inches
rear-13.2 inches

e46 M3 brakes:
front-12.8
rear-12.9

Since the 330i has brakes that are bigger than those of the e46 M3, the spare tire will NOT fit the 330i, but it will fit the 325i as I stated in my earlier post...
