Winter rim/tire size for 135i

Hi guys!

Anyone know the proper rim and winter tire size for 135i? Does it matter that it has that bigger caliper up front? Can I goto 17" or have to stick to 18"? Thanks!

16" will not get over the front calipers. 17" will.

Most 1 series guys who order winter wheels/tires through us go with 18" non staggered with a 225/40 OR 35-18 all around... Seems to be there are a lot of options for winter tires in that set up too so it's great for the guys who wants to run just a performance snow tire like the Dunlop Winter 3D tires, or for the other guys who want to run a studdless Ice/Snow Tire.
