so I i got my vin# now what? I see people using their vin# to check things, but are these things?

You might do what hundreds of us have done by now and go to the Pricing, Ordering, and Tracking Forum, where you might start with the third sticky, the one that offers advice on tracking your order. Whether obsessive tracking of your order will make you feel better or worse depends entirely on how compulsive you are. Reading the traffic on that forum while I was waiting for my car--which I managed to track right to the pier in Charleston--suggested to me that a lot of us are pretty impatient. If you plan to be miserable while you wait, you won't want for company.
