i don't think the colour is quite accurate. i wouldn't change based on these. watch the daytona vids and the vids w/ the e30.

^ He's right... it's not accurate. Check out the official pictures thread. This color is *very* difficult to capture without a gray card.

Those photos isn't the VO I know and have seen. VO really pops - in direct or show car lights. When the light is not that great... the car looks more coper. In those photos the color is not even close!

But there are two guys in 1erforum that saw a VO one in Leipzig and were a little bit disapointed. They said they thought it would pop more, but instead it was more a dull orange? Hmm, I really have big doubts and I since BMW is not able to show one in Munich, time is running up

But I don't want another white car, I'd love to have it in VO. If it looks good, though. Fallback is AW for me. Damn...

Unfortunately nothing upcoming. They showed the 1M in white in Geneva, which was very, very disappointing. Until now, there was very less to none enjoyment ordering that car

Yes, I read that too on the 1er forum.de But I also read that Thorsten (car-coding.de) said the car looked bright outside in the sun. Just dark inside.

I saw the VO at the Welt back in the Nov. The color looked good to me. I just wish BMW would offer few more colors.

@Dackel: Hm, it's really that variable then? AW will look the same in every lighting, but VO will differ. hmmm...do I want that...

Oh, no AW looks great on the car. It is just easy to judge AW based on pictures.
Since that's not possible for VO, I was disappointed BMW didn't show that special color.

Unfortunately not. I don't like the 1M in BSM, hides too much for my taste and BSM can be seen to often. With a uni-color black perhaps yes, but not with that metallic one.

Disclosure: I am not getting an 1 M series coupe, but my best friend is. We had long discussions about the color of this car, especially VO. This is more of a prank for him, but I really think VO might relate quite a lot to some vehicles he would be really proud of :P :
