This article is all kinds of wrong. The M2 will have a single turbo N55 derivative. The 1M had the N54BT0 (shared with the 335is and Z435is).

the article also calls the single turbo N55 as internally referred to as "S55"---totally wrong! surprising coming from Autocar which is usually sort of credible!

that being said....it wouldn't surprise me if the M2 is 350hp....as that would really distance it from the M3/M4.

M2 will have 365hp and 343ft/lbs torque according to the M2 discussion boards. It's a modded N55.

It was stated over here already quite some time ago that the X4 M40i and M2 both will feature the N55B30T0 engine.
