Minneapolis Audio Installer?

Morning guys - I'm in the midst of pricing out a couple different options for an audio system, and I'd like to begin talking to local installers. Any recommendations near Minneapolis? I'd like to find a shop that's worked on the 1 series. Barring that, a shop that's known for doing great work on BMWs.

Hadn't planned on it. From everything I've read, the HU sounds like it's far too integrated to make that an easy swap. I can do everything I want to do with the existing HU. Components, underseats, amp, and DSP of some sort initially, then possibly a side-mounted sub in the trunk down the line. MusicarNW's Level 1 package seems close to what I need.

I've gotten a couple installer recommendations from gearheads I know, both suggested I be prepared to pay for the complexity of dealing with BMW electronics. That makes me REALLY want to track down a shop that works with BMW systems regularly.

It is. nightmare. not worth it. as far as the rest of it i'm not sure. seems like all the high end shops around town closed up over the years. I used to be huge into the scene but haven't done anything for 10+ years. I know a couple of great installers but neither has touched the stuff in years and i know they got out of the game. One installed for Audio King (he's even a bmw guy) & the the other Midwest speaker.

So far I've spoken with Streamline Audio in Eden Prairie and Mach 1 in Golden Valley. Both were recommended to me. Sounds like Streamline may be *too* high end - prefers to purchase, fabricate, and install from start to finish, so they might be out (also appear to lean toward exotics). Mach 1 is taking a look at the specs and hardware to ballpark an estimate.
