The four-door 1 hatch?

I saw one of those on an orange-ish color in a parking lot last autumn and said I WANT one of those. In fact, it was while looking for that car online that I discovered the 135.

would they settle for a 123d? ... that'd be good. If not then the 335d is your next option.

at least you get a lot more torque.

If they'd sell the 335d wagon in the US, I'd probably buy that over the 1er.

I love the 135, but the 335d seems like it has a lot more long-term drivablity.

I wouldn't be quite as devastated for you were you to pick up the 335d. A real shame though, Jack. Hope for your benefit you can stick with BMW.

I guess now that you've drive the N54, the 123d 5-door is out of the question(?).

A 335d should at least minimize your pain.

It's still up for sale, last time I checked a few days ago - we're getting killed on fuel and tax over here at the moment, so they're not shifting compared to the 123d.

Im from Texas, so bare with me a second.

Why does he have to sale his car? I mean if my company gave me a car, I still could pay for my 135 as I do right now, right? I just would have two cars. He's not out any more money right? They pay for one car, I pay for my personal car. Same?

But then again what do I know, we dont have to pay for TV here.

Maybe he doesn't have anywhere to park a second car. If I had two cars I'd have to rent a storage space just to hold my other car. We have a two car garage (one for me, one for my wife) and in the complex we live in the rest of the parking is visitors only. (it's a townhouse) If your a resident and you park in the visitor parking you get towed.

My wife has two cars, Miata for summer Subaru for winter, and we pay $80/mo to rent a storage to park whatever one she's not using at the time. (our next house is going to have a minimum of 3 car garage)

Sorry to hear it, Jack. It seems like yesterday when you were giving everyone here reports about the 135i. Congratulations on the promotion. The 335d saloon sure sounds good as well.

After I read his posts this is what I thought, "heck, free company car whoo hoo!" But then raeding more carefully, I think he gets $X of money to pay for a car, take it or leave it. And to qualify, the car must be 4 door disel, so the 135 does not qualify. I suppose he could forgo his company car allowance money and keep the 135 and pay out of his own pocket...:iono:
