The exhaust looks well build. However, I wonder how much is the performance gain or is it just for sound?

If you guys have an strong opinions one way or the other though please do chime in. We'd hate to produce a product that no one likes but us
I like the center exhaust idea. It provides symmetry to the car. Besides, the Lamborghini Murcielago has center exhausts and it looks great.

I wish I could comment, but won't know one way or another without some dyno time. I'd be floored if there wasn't SOME sort of gain, but how much is the key factor.

I really like it as well; however, I am impatient and couldn't stand how quiet the stock exhaust was... Between this and the fact that I plan to mod the car further beyond this point I figured it wasn't a bad time to upgrade!

I'm VERY anxious to see how the center exit system turns out. If it ends up using the mid-pipes and Y-pipe from the exhaust I currently have and I'd only need to repurchase the axleback and a diffuser I'd consider going that route in the future!

So what if a ny are the advantages over the OEM exhaust? The pics don't really tell me a whole lot.

I would say a +1 on this is in order. Say +/- 3-5 whp.

Also, the weight savings is probably relatively significant too. I have a buddy with access to a pretty accurate scale that could probably weigh the stock unit on Monday... Any chance you guys could weigh what you built?

Thanks, Patrick!

To those that care: I can say that under medium (1/2-2/3) throttle the car now has the ability to make cars with alarms set off their "warning" sound in parking structures!

Very, very Nice CP-E....if I was not trying to stay with one tuner(Riss Racing) I would definitely be a buyer of that exhaust. Great sound, great looks, even looks like quality! (SS who?...LOL) Good job guys! I will definitely list you guys as a potential application to anyone that asks!

I'll contact the guy I know now. Unfortunately I won't be able to do it prior to Monday, but can definitely arrange it that day.

Sounds pretty awesome, esp the engine braking. I have the BMW exhaust and am enjoying it, but that sounds even better. Very impressive!

Thanks! You should definitely pick one up if you find the BMW exhaust ends up being too quiet for your tastes! :headbang:

Haha, yes, absolutely!

I won't begin to claim that this exhaust is "tame" - it's not, but it's also not obnoxious either!

The best comparison I can make is if you take a 135i, throw in a little bit of E46 M3 grunt, a dash of MKIV Supra in the mid-range and a sprinkle of sport bike + F1 car and you'll have what this sounds like.
