Track pads / Street Pads

What do you guys use on the track? How do you like them? have you tried anything else? Ive used Carbotech RP2, Cobalt XR2 and am currently on Carbotech XP10. Im really happy with Carbotech but love trying new and different products so Id love to hear opinions of what other people have tried.

Also is there a better street pad than OEM? Something with less dust?

Has anyone found a pad that they have successfully used for both street and track use?

Do you search? There are about 3 of these posts a week asking the same thing. Not trying to be mean, but just scrolling the page you can find your answers.

I know in fact that focus is no meanie but he's not kidding when he says "there are about 3 posts a week" on this subject. never the less in the spirit of welcoming you to our fold this is how it breaks down; cool carbons for dustless upgrade from oe pads with nice modulation and decent heat tolerance. then you have the EBC stuff (sorry can't give you first hand experience but heard the yellows are pretty decent). there's Ferodo's DS2500 which are standard pads that come with Brembo BBKs. they have even better heat tolerance and are considered best dual use pads out there. for dedicated track pads you have the Hawk DTC 70/60 which are probably the most popular and best marketed pads and then you have Pagid RS29 pads which are considered full blown endurance race pads. of course these are the pads that are available only for brembo calipers that come standard with our cars. there are other options if you choose to upgrade BBKs like performance friction and what not. I may have missed a few but chances are they are not that great if not mentioned here. hope that helps

DS2500s are pretty good double duty pads, rears do squeal and clunk around in the calipers though.
Try just getting the fronts with titanium shims and see how you go.
