Hamann Front Lip, What color???

What color should I paint it?

You should probably stick with alpine white. The only other color in your exterior paint scheme is black and I think you will not see the lip in black. You could paint the top white and the bottom, where you cannot see it, a textured black undercoating to protect it from scratches.

BTW is that the oil change rack at the Spangdahlem auto hobby shop?

Man, you really do get all the German goodies! I say stick with white, the contrast would look too weird imo

Yeah, but what about people with carbon lips (eventually)? I'm so torn. I think I will do white and then maybe vinyl whatever I may want to be black.

Yeah he is cool from what I remember. I am sheet metal as well so he always just let me have the run of the place.

I was there from '98 - '03. I am sure I might have crossed paths with you.

BTW: When did they start giving out Bitburg plates for Americans there? I hated those little US-sized plates with the NATO stars and a big USA underneath it. They were always saying don't stand out but gave us plates with USA on them... lol

Paint it gone, that looks terrible. Hamman is not known for their tasteful styling and this just proves it.

They started giving them out in 2006. All the bases get the local plates now. K-town gets KLXXXXX etc. I don't think we get to keep these when we leave though. Bummer. Its easy to get replicas but hard to get the TUV and Stadt stickers.

LOL......I'm not sure though if i like it or not and you know i'm not a hater....It does look pretty good on that 3 painted white so i would think thats your best route....But then again you always do a little different stuff with your cars so maybe you'll surprise me....btw once you put springs on your car that thing will be ripped off with the quickness going through the gate on nellis...my car scrapes and i don't even have the front lip that i want
