New alignment questions

Ok so Im going to get a new, less agressive alignment on monday, since Im tired of buying tires lol.

Mods- ST-XTA coilovers
M3 control arm kit

Im currently running
Front: -3.0* camber, 0 toe.
Rear: -2.2* camber, .125 toe in

Im eating through tires, and looking for a more durable alignment for now.

Would -1.5* camber all around with stock toe, front and rear be a decent daily alignment?

I'm shooting for this next. I've been at -1.5 in front for the last 2 years. Fine for tire wear but been wanting to dial out some more understeer. We'll see if an additional ~.5 degrees is a good balance.

Front: -2.0 camber 1/16" toe out
Rear -1.8 camber 1/8" toe in

How are your tires wearing down? Inside edges? Or all the way across the tire thread ?

I think most 135i owners will tell you IF you can get 10K to 15K miles out the rear tires - you are doing great! Some guys here get much less mileage! The fronts seem to go almost twice as long as the rears.

Just the inside 20-30mm like the toe setting is way out, but I had it verified at the toe settings posted above. IM going back to a more stock like alignment since I need this set of tires to last alittle longer.

Looking at your current spec of zero toe, it makes me wonder if the toe spec may have drifted out since the alignment was done. If your car is actually running toe-out, then it would make sense to find the tires wearing heavily on the inside edge. Changing to -1.5 degrees front camber with slight toe-in should avoid the front tire wear problem.

EDIT: I just read your alignment was verified. So in that case, IDK! Anyway good luck!

Im not saying the settings haven't changed but who knows. It's getting a new alignment tomorrow so I hope that this set of tires will last alittle longer.

Out of curiosity what would you recommend for a stock suspension 1er? Max camber that stock allows up front + Same toe specs as you listed above , ?

Pull the alignment pins on the strut tops, should get you to ~-0.7 camber or so. Rest of the alignment specs I posted are totally doable on stock suspension.

Yeah I pulled mine a while ago and got to roughly -.7-.8, just curious on your recommendations . I've seen your a few of your posts and you seem very knowledgable . I am thinking of trying
Front
camber= max negative
Caster= 7.0-7.2
Tow = -.07 on each side for -.14 total (or should I 0 it out for more stability during DD?)

Rear
Max negative camber
Rear tow = .12-.15 for .24-.30 total ?

Do you think this would provide a solid daily drive with the ability to actually put down power into the corner a bit better ? Or does the rear tow need to go up ?

Thanks for your input

I do like zero front toe for DD. I'd keep all other settings at 135i or 1M spec other than maxing out front negative camber.

What tire/s have you run with -3.0 degrees of camber and no toe up front and what life did you see out of them?
Hoping a set of RE11s I have (running at the same front alignment) will last me around 8,000-10,000 kms or roughly 5,500 miles including a track day or two and a number of auto-x events. Am I delusional?

That's a pretty realistic expectation.

Track days and autocrosses will actually help even out the wear.

At 2,500 miles (or as wear dictates) you can dismount and flip the tires for even shoulder wear (usually outside shoulder wear is out main concern)

With my old agressive alignment, I saw 8k miles out of a set of Federal 595 RSR.
