BMWhat app for ANDROID. The iphone app is far more limited with coding.

I'll do this stuff for you guys, its easy enough that I don't mind. I do it with that app and an ELM BT adapter. I'll have to get some pics. The app is $58 and IMO well worth it, but again, I don't mind changing these options. Its not as much coding as NCSexpert allows, but the convenience is great. I can also turn off the voltage check for any of you guys who are running aftermarket halos, but I love the stock ones with high voltage myself.

I should look into that. How much are the aftermarket ones anyway? I thought the aftermarket ones were under $100. Not that $100 is cheap for a light, but that's not a bad worst case scenario IF they even fail. For all I know they are just as reliable. Probably not, but I'll live dangerously because they look so much better and it cost nothing.

Well I'm sure you can get halogen bulbs but those usually don't last much anyways especially with higher voltage than usual

If those are cheap and easily sourced I'll just do that. I really love how they look on very high voltage. I'm going to see how long they last.

Just looked more halogens are like $15 for a set lol. Definitely leaving the OEM lights as is and just running on very high voltage. For $15 for a new set its worth it. These went from barely visible in daylight to looking almost aftermarket they are so bright.

Thanks for the info. That BMW What app is next on my list. FYI, I Have some PIAA aftermarket halogens that are much brighter than stock, I'm thinking the "high" voltage might be enough to make them pop.

Easy enough to try. The LEDs might not get any brighter, just hotter, but its easy to test.

I tested yesterday after a drive to nh my lights weren't any hotter externally.

Hey might make it worth selling them and buying cheap white/blue halogens if they will look better.

So far so good with my halogens on max voltage. I don't foresee any issues.

Sitting in a waiting room before I get injections in my back. Fun stuff. Trying to distract myself, but the main sections of this site have only a few posts a day.

Got a nice 2-3 inch gash in the middle of my passenger side door today. The car next to me kicked a piece of metal up off the road. WTF massachusetts! This week alone I got a nasty windshield chip, metal something gashed my door, and my front bumper is so pitted that I'm already thinking of getting the front bumper repainted, the door fixed, and having the car opticoated ASAP.
