Koni FSD with stock M-Tech Springs
Not looking for a drop at all, just want better ride quality after switching from Runfails to normal tyres.
Is this half arsed and not recommended? |

Both of those changes result in improved ride quality; not half assed at all.

Would swapping out the springs for something like BMW Performance springs improve ride quality further or is it just more of a handling/ride height improvement?

Stiffer springs won't improve ride comfort; they'll reduce dive, squat, roll and comfort.

Ok then, just the shocks it is!
Can anyone confirm that Koni FSDs for the E82 will also fit the E87? There's a set a fellow member is getting rid of that has caught my eye. |

I am wondering about this too. The koni fsds are great on other cars I have owned and to stay in the stock class for scca you can only do shocks not springs. The fsd was great for street and pretty good for track from what I understand but I don't know anyone with them on the 135i. What are peoples impression?
