93 octane.
I turned a 142.2 in the first session. In the race car I'm consistently in the 138's with my best lap being a 137.7. Aero, Hoosiers, roll cage > Luxury

Wow, 4 seconds off your gutted race car! Slap some hoosiers on the 1M and you'll drop the 3 seconds right there. Dan, these are great updates for us track rats, keep them coming!
cheers Amit

Session 3
Did I mention it was hot?
Car says 98 outside and my temp gauge reads 127 on the pavement in the pits! No limp mode or other issues. Oil temps ran up to 280 in the last session after 5-6 hot laps with electronics off. It stayed there and didn't move, thankfully. I got some good video that I'll try to post up tonight. I hung the back out in turn 1 (4th gear) almost every lap all the way up the hill! I doubt you can hear it in the video but I was laughing every time. I'm winding out 4th gear on the back straight and I've seen a little over 140 before switching to the brakes. Data will tell what I'm really getting up to. The car slipped the back tires under the bridge several times which I must say is scary as @

Even though limp home not triggered, you got me thinking about adding a larger oil cooler sooner rather than later. Neil |

Jeeze...sometimes the app is buggy. Here's some data from an android app called My Tracks. I used it in the last session which was my slowest. The track was so greasy I couldn't get a good exit out of 7 so it killed my top speed.

glad to hear no issue with the heat.. I've been very confident that this would be resolved. LOL at hanging the tail out in turn 1 going up the Hill. I am definitely interested in impressions in certain areas of the track.. How it feels in the esses... ( I am sure you are not getting up on the curb as some do in turn 5)... but does it feel stable in the esses ? exiting turn 7... any issues putting the power down? how does it feel at super high speed braking for 10A.. how does it feel in turn 11 etc.. on the back straight I've hit 129 in my E30 M3 D- Mod LITE car... and 136 in my friend's C Mod car in DE sessions. |
