Mods for my Eurotrip - E82 125i

Hi All,

A friend and I are planning a Euro road trip next Spring, he'll have his Z4 3.0si and I'll be taking the 125i! Before then, I'd like to make the 125i look and sound the part, ready for some incredible pictures and videos around the European scenery.

He's toying with the idea of getting the Z4M front bumper retrofitted, and that got me thinking - is it too tackey to get a 1M bumper for the Coupe? I've found several online: M-style's is by far the nicest, but doesn't come with headlight washers for the Xenons, and they aren't replying to my emails. Kerscher's is nice, but I don't like the bulbous washer jets. So my question to you is, are there any other decent, non-Chinese eBay jobbies on the market?

What I am sure of though, due to the fact the Z4 has the Proflow backbox, is that I would like either BMWP system or a 135i backbox. Again, can anyone on here vouch for either of them, what would your recommendation be?

Body-style wise, BMWP grille, carbon diffuser and spoiler are a must, whilst I've got a quote for darklines from Cotswold's, so i will be treating myself to those very soon!

I'm probably in the minority, but I find 1M-style bumpers quite ugly. Non-M E82's don't have the aggressive body to pull it off.

M Sport or Performance is the way to go.

135i exhaust will probably be cheaper to buy. Both sound very nice and it's up to you what you prefer. Plenty of videos on YouTube. I can provide some.

What have you got for suspension? More important than CF spoilers - it's a fact that stock suspension suck as hell. And style wise, no E82 with added exterior parts looks good at stock height.

I really detest the performance bumper, it's not my style at all *waiting for the hate mail*. The 1M bumper is the only upgrade I'd consider from M-Sport.

Is there anyone who's upgraded their Black E82 to a 1M bumper, with pictures?

I've heard the 135i exhaust is about £300 cheaper, so will do perfectly for what I need it for. Any video's would be greatly appreciated!

Stock suspension for now, I'm not planning on getting it changed imminently.
