ABS and brake Lights flashed up
The ABS light flashed up in yellow with the brake light also flashed up in yellow. Does it means a brake pad change is due or a ABS malfuntion? Would appreciate any suggestions.Thanks.

That sounds like and abs unit or maybe low fluid too? I'd start there and then maybe have somebody check for codes.

For me same thing happened when my brake pads were gone. Have you had any other symptoms besides just the light?

Thanks. No other symptoms at all, everything is working perfect, just the brake and ABS lights in yellow. My car has presently 12,800 miles.Wonder how many miles till pads start to fade? My car is a 2009 model.

Went to the dealer today and they told me it could be a part of the ABS system or the wheel sensors, the rotors, brake fluid and pads read OK.

Yeah that's really low miles for pads unless you track the car. I suppose if the sensor comes loose or has a short it'd do that as well. If the system itself wasn't working I'd assume you would have other symptoms.

That sounds very logical and I believe its whats possibly happening to my car.Its a 2009 model, just bought it a month ago,had only 12K miles and looks like if it just came out of the factory. I am gonna check tomorrow at an Indy shop of a buddy to see if the sensors came loose. Thanks for your input.
