Rai , I know a heap of jap cars with aftermarket alarms have the ability to "remote start"

Yeah I know you can do it with the JDM and aftermarket part, but Vinney seems to be talking about using current hardware and just a bit of coding?

Yeh Nik is on the money with remote-start via key fob. There are aftermarket alarms that allow you to do this, as a lot of older Jap cars need time to warm up and also have turbo timers to allow the engine to cool down. If it's a possibility then I'm keen.

The digital speed shows up in the bottom panel, between the speed and the tacho. It comes up when you cycle through the distance to empty etc on the BC display.

Like the other trip computer functions, you have to press the BC button to display it each time you start the car, but it does remember the function you were viewing the last time you drove the car.

remote start is not possible without modifying the cas immobilizer system, its a huge security risk
