Get my 135i tomorrow (3/29). Metallic black with the red Boston leather. Sports and premium packages...and heated seats(wisconsin). I have no idea how I will be able to sleep tonight....I feel like tomorrow will be X-mas morning!

Hello Chicagoland !!! Does anybody know of a TOP quality tint shop around here? I had my TL-S done in Lake Bluff and they did a good job, but I have seen better. I was also told to get ceramic.
Another question is about tint scratching, Acura TL's scratch tint very easily even with the best felt added. How are BMW's for this problem? I am considering 50% on sides and 35% on rear. I don't need the Gurnee, Waukegan Cops bothering me. |

Any Wisconsin people got their 1s?
I just picked up mine last Sat. (Monaco Blue / Lemon) Actually I went to a MINI Cooper drive right after the delivery.. Lots of twisty country road. I think it is a good idea for break-in the engine. The drive was great, and the new 1 was handle wonderfully. I can still keep up with the MINI folks. Jumping from a Cooper S to 135, I don't feel missing a lot, may be just a bit Go Kart feel.

Your car looks good! Yeah, got it from Zimbrick, Griffin is my sales guy.
Car should be done with production this Friday. I'm going to South Carolina to the Performance Center to pick it up, hopefully in the first week of June. Going to be a fun road trip back, top down summer driving. |
