eBay Front Splitters - Performance Bumper

Just put these front splitters on today. Got them for $90 + $30 shipping on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...ff6098&vxp=mtr

The are fiberglass with carbon laid on the leading edge. Thin, but fairly rigid. They didn't come pre-drilled for use with the factory screw holes. Made a cardboard template to line one side up. First fit I was a bit off so I had to make the holes slightly bigger. After finishing the drivers side, I just traced the final holes onto the passenger. Also had to make a new hole by the innermost leading edge to get it tight to the bumper. Think they look great for under $100... better than paying $800 for the BMW ones.

Anyone who's interested in getting these, let me know. I'll take one off and make a template to save you some time on the holes..

No kidding, looks very nice! Also another big plus in my book is that it looks like BMW would have done it.

Here are some detail photos. (rain and pollen leave a car dirty)
Fit is really good. Lines up perfect with bumper curve. Weave is also nice.

I re-visited this post before bidding on ebay, & realized that it says "for performance bumper." Well CRAP. I've got the regular stock bumper on my 128i vert...so it won't work???

Looks nice! I will have to check them out. I haven't been able to find a lip spoiler I really like that didn't cost a fortune.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the "Performance bumper" & a stock one such as I have on 128i vert? Eyeballing it, they don't look all that different of a line across the bottom, but apparently there's enough difference that these splitters won't be compatible....?? I really like these (& the price, of course). Haven't been able to find anything as nice for as good a $$.
