Will these Fit?
I was looking around the old interwebs when I decided to take a look at AC Schnitzer's website. I saw these wheels and I want to know if they will actually fit a 135i vert or whether AC is full of crap. The sizes are 8.5x18 et 43 all around.
edit. The wheels in this pic are 8.5x19 et 43 Last edited by BrokenVert; 05-09-2009 at 11:23 PM.. |

I thought the main difference with verts just had to do with under the car for mufflers and such. For sure these would fit a coupe fine if the stats you gave are correct.
235/35 all around would be the way I'd do it so you could rotate tires. |

I don`t think there would a problem only if the whip is fully loaded with passengers in the back.
but maybe there will be small rubbing issues but nothing wicked. I`d go for 225s all around btw.

I already have the tires. I have Pilot Sport PS2s. 225/40 up front and 255/35 in the back. They are cureently mounted on my stock wheels. I just couldnt afford wheels at the time I needed to dismount my winters. I'm looking for a nice wheel to mount my Michelins on. I was planning on going for 313s from Dan but these caught my attention.

I think those tires will work fine also and I like the unique rims much better than 313's!. Basically it'll be similar to what you have now just shifted out a half inch or so closer to the fenders or more aggressive as they call it. Maybe you'll rub a little in the rear fully passenger loaded or lowered but I doubt it, depends on how the tires spread on the undersized rim. If you do rub a little, I wouldn't roll my fenders, I'd just buy 245 rears next time. 255's are big for 8.5's anyways.

They will rub a tad in the front if you are slammed, and the rear SHOULD be fine.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of $800 to $900 per wheel. To me that's ridiculously expensive for a cast, 1-piece wheel.

Ohh crap then nvm. Ill stick with 313s then. Im not spending upwards of 3K for a set of wheels...especially ones that are not perfect offsets for the car.
