Replacing side mirrors

Well lads I got my hands on a pair of second hand 1M side mirrors and need some instructions on how to swap them over with my 125i mirrors.
link to DIY instructions, schematics, videos, pics would be appreciated!
had a google but can't come up with anything useful yet..

removal and installation was easy enough, unfortunately I got the mirrors for a LHD car, bummer!
Sending them back to seller

How is it that they're for an RHD? As in what component makes it RHD and not LHD or universal?

its the angle on the mirrors, they are distinctly different parts for LHD and RHD cars
they fit on the car ok but the angle is so wrong you can't adjust it, so they in effect become useless.

You don't need to take the door panels off to swap out the mirrors. You can remove the A Sails with a bit of wiggling.

Not sure what you mean about RHD/LHD... The only difference should be the glass.

You're right. I went and checked after my last post and one of the housings is definitely more angled than the other.

Didn't even notice until I was looking for it...

PS: Don't you have a RHD car?

Or some in Australia who prefers form over function...

How about all them hairdressers... They only use the one attached to that glass thing in front of them to put lip stick on... The rest are superfluous...

What do you mean when you say Sails? Are they the polished black plastic triangle cover that goes to a point behind the tweeter speaker.

No. The cover that goes over the tweeter - on the inside of the door. Pull it out at the top and then wiggle it out and backwards. It can be removed and re-installed without removing the door panel.
