Also for those fellow boardies who are driving on their summer tires, if I recall correctly, if you get into an accident and you are not on all-seasons or winters during the winter, ICBC can choose not to cover you. You should probably check with your agent just to be safe.
Urban myth. No such restriction applies with ICBC.

And my car has been in the garage for almost four weeks. I sat in it tonight to hook up my Storm's Bluetooth and it was really, really hard to get out. I think I'll grab a sleeping bag and sleep in it tonight.

Hey guys!
Really need some info from you!
I'm trying to order a set of winter tires from tire rack
The tough question is that I have the performance brakes
The large yellow calipers!
I'm worrying if I order a set from tire rack and they don't fit my car...it's gonna be a big hassel!
I know that tire rack is professional and know what they're doing...but I was wondering if they have dealt with 135i with performance brake on...
Tire rack told me that 17" 205/50R17 dunlop SP winter sport 3D tires with 17x7.5 sport edition A7 rims will fit my car just fine
I was wondering if that's true
The offset for the car is 49mm in the front 52mm in the rear
Thanks for your help!

But, can't the police charge with you dangerous driving because you do not have the appropriate tires on your car?

As for the performance brakes, do a search but I thought the rotors and calipers on the 135 were the same size as the performance ones.

I have no idea but receiving a ticket would not void your Autoplan insurance.

Agreed, although I'm sure there may be some lawyers over there that would love to see that.

Garage List
I passed a AW 1er on Columbia in New West westbound this evening who was stuck on an incline.

I felt really bad & wanted to stop to see if I could help but my other half told me not to.

oh well...

Hope you got home ok.

Sounds to me like that will fit fine.

If something is not going to work Gill at the tirerack will make sure your notified.

He sent me an email verifying I knew the tires I was ordering were not run-flats so I'm sure if somethings out of the ordinary he will let you know. Good luck.

Just some info if anyone's interested. I drove up Cypress last night and it was dumping snow, solid packed ice the whole way up and closer to the top I was driving on several inches of packed snow.

A few areas that were a bit deeper, even saw a stuck mazda 3 with snow tires in there but I just plowed right past him. (No I didn't help cause I'm a douchbag BMW owner)

The snow tires make so much difference it's incredible, but then again I've never bought snow tires before...

I also went for a spin up the BP's and tried going up some of the steepest hills. Had a bit of trouble in some areas but for the most part with dsc off just keep giving it gas and you can come out alright with little effort.

I LOVE THIS CAR !!!!!!!
