I don't know, but it seems like getbmwparts is still selling a set of 6 fuel injectors for $1330 ($665 per 3 injectors).

It's complete bull sh!t, BMW designs a crappy injector, the modifies it how many times to get to the -11 or whatever then passes the cost on to us for their BS design. This is my last BMW.....

HPFP and turbos got covered via lawsuits didn't they? Wonder how feasible it would be to get the injectors warrantied similarly. There's certainly enough documentation showing poor design on them. I wonder how much money has been wasted by owners being forced to replace the same faulty crap time and again just to keep the car running. And now there's evidence that if you don't replace them when they leak, which is hard to tell in the first place, then it can result in engine failure.

I'm sure you don't want to take that on yourself, but throwing this out there for anyone more savvy on this sort of thing.

Last time I checked... each injector was a little over $130. ?

Here are some bmw SIB's that everyone should be aware of...

Injectors are often covered under the extended power train warranty. I had all 6 replaced a few weeks ago and the car drives better than ever, I'm also getting improved MPG. If you have the old style injectors get rid of them.
