ATM or CP-e FMIC for my build?
I'm looking to upgrade my FMIC very soon, and I'm trying to decide between the ATM and CP-e models. I need the unit to be compatible with my Cobb CP, I know some FMIC units use replacement pipes, so I don't know what is compatible or not. I know that I really like what I'm reading about the ATM unit in particular, it sounds like a winner, plus I like the way that it looks. The ATM unit has 2.5" pipes, and I can't find stats on the CP-e, but this is an important stat to me.
I want a high flowing IC that's not going to leak boost pressure or be too restrictive, as the rest of my build is prioritizing airflow volume into/out of the engine and reducing restriction wherever possible. Cooling is important to me obviously, however, I will be installing a meth injection system next spring, so it wouldn't make sense to have a super cold intake that leaks boost pressure. Not sure if any of that is applicable to either of these FMICs, but it's something I'm thinking about.

ATM or Wagner competition version 2. I have the ATM and love it. Solid review on the Wagner comp ver 2 as well but I think it has some cutting for it to fit. Two different cores, one is bar and plate and one is tube and fin.

Cp-e has published great white papers on their FMIC. http://cp-e.com/tech/n54FMIC.pdf
They also offer an upgraded oil cooler for $110 that bolts to the the intercooler. I feel that Cp-e is a very overlooked option but I think they make great products. Definitely don't count it out.

Holy crap, I just realized that of all places, ATM seems to be located no joke, 10 minutes from my house. I sent him an email, and if he's cool with it, I guess I'd be able to drive there and pick it up in person and save on shipping. Man that's cool.
So apparently now I live 10 minutes from Ambient Thermal Management, and 20 minutes from East Coast Superchargers Guess this is a good area for car modding, because it's the middle of nowhere for everything else
