NYC Meet again?..

So..being that the weather lately here in Ny hasn't really been all that cold lately who's up for another meet?..I know the last meet on Dec 3rd was FREEZING but lately its been ok..Anybody down?..Or we can even arrange a meet at Englishtown/Raceway park..My Boy's the Director/head honcho over there..maybe we can meet up on a sunday and run our cars since we have the track al to ourselves?..lemme know what you guys think!

Good idea but where the heck is Englishtown?

Probably a good idea to try for Queens / Nassau border, that will allow W´chester, Long Island, NYC folk to attend.

Englishtown is in Old Bridge Township in NJ.. It's where they usually hold the Import Survival Series Drag races during the summer..I'm down for a Queens/Nassau border meet too...It was what I intended for when I suggested the last meet..

That's a good start..or maybe Nassau colisseum...Or if you guys wanna come into Queens/Bayside we can do a meet at Cunningham Park off of Francis Lewis Blvd in the parking lot for a nice Photo session or even Flushing Meadows Park...

I'd be game. Hopefully the decent weather holds out. Too bad there isn't an indoor type place we could meet, like a large airplane hanger or something

Too bad the weather on Monday is calling for rain. If it changes, we could do a quickie meet.

Alternatively, we could meet at a German restaurant; Niederstein's is supposed to be decent and probably has good parking (the really good Austrian restaurants in the city like Blaue Gans and Wallsé aren´t exactly BMW friendly for parking).

I thought i saw on the news this afternoon that it was supposed to be good Sunday/Monday..I'll watch the news tonight..Jspira has already PM'd me about a possible meet..Anybody else game?

The Bay Terrace shopping center in Bayside has a huge indoor parking lot that no one really uses. If it´s at all inclement, we can park there.

In fact, either way we can, and then we can find someplace nearby for a group photo.

How´s that?

Thats a good idea..I have a friend who is the security guard director for the Bay Terrace shopping center..I can make a call to make sure that they dont harass us for loitering..

The covered parking garage in Bayside Terrace is a great idea btw. We'll have to keep that in mind for the future also.

We can always do a practice run on Monday in anticipation of a bigger event.

We should do at least 2 weeks notice for a bigger event once we test the approach.
