What tires should I go with?

Looking for alternatives to the OEM runflats.

I like the Toyo T1R and Falken FK452 for about $160 each.

What are you guys getting?

What do you want in your tires? Long wear, maximum grip, rain performance, summer or all-season? We need more info before offering advice.

A good all-around summer tire with good dry and wet grip. Something with decent wear as well.

I have the fk452's and live by them. I had them on a previous car. Excellent wet performance.

The Bridgestone RE760 would meet these needs very well.

Additional $50 mail in rebate if you act before May 10th.

I have 2500 miles on my set and have zero complaints.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3. They are great tires. They improved the ride and handling on my Z4 over the stock run flats. They have a nice chevron pattern as well.

Very sticky tires and awesome in the rain but they have weak side walls and are prone to bubling.

I bubbled many Goodyear F1s before I finally switched to Michelin PS2. the PS2 in my mined are the best all around summer performance tire. only problem with PS2 is price but you get what you pay for.

I'm thinking about going with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01Rs with 225s up front and 255s in the rear.

after moving on from the stock contis of my e46 m3, the next tires i moved to were ps1s. after that, i moved to ps2s. i've never looked back. the two downsides are price and wear. as bmweber said, you get what you pay for performance-wise. i get between 12 and 15k on a set. they're awesome.
