Hi all. New to the forum. Just bought a 135is and am loving it.

So... I got apex 18/8.5s all around, hankook tires, an Intercooler and a solo lap timer to get myself started. I figured I'd be my own Santa this year!the board has been an amazing resource. Lots of great threads to help me work out where to first spend money.

You'll have a blast touring around the east coast.

I retired last Dec after 37 years. I picked my 135i up in January.
Back at you! Are you on the East coast?

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! What part of the country are you from? Can't wait to see some photos of your new ride and hear more about it!

Thanks everyone. Updated my profile, I'm in LA. I'm doing the Pahrump event if anyone else is heading out. I'll get pics up once the wheels are on.

On mods... Now seriously considering the JB4, esp since I found it switches off the stupid wheel sensors. That feature alone is worth $200!

Adding this custom-fit plush trunk mat to my xmas list. Told my wife I want the black mat with the Bavarian Autosport logo. That means I'll get a new golf shirt or something Wish me luck!

Not sure how much that one is, but you might want to also consider the OEM BMW fitted luggage mat. It's about $60-65 and is some plasticky/rubber material. Definitely not as pretty, but good fit, has a lil more grip to it, and I imagine much easier to clean. I got it a few months back and it's not the greatest as the edges are kinda flimsy, but the fit is good and will protect everything back there. In case you hadn't seen it before, here are pics of it in my trunk. Your wife may like it cause it's probably cheaper and/or means you can get MORE gifts!

It's part #51470433563 in case you were wondering. I paid $63+shipping. An added benefit too is it creates at least a small, like 2-inch lip on our netless right cubbies to somewhat keep stuff in there.

Carpeted one is definitely prettier though, but if gets wet/dirty, may be a pain to clean.
