If you are referring to the ticking I believe its the fuel injectors. Same thing with diesel engines. Completely normal I've been told. Sometimes they tick loud; sometimes they are quiet. Mine get louder in the winter months and quiet down in the summer.
How many miles are on your car? I have heard you can replace the injectors and it may fix it... but its costly.

Car has done 42k miles and had its injectors replaced with the latest -12 revision about 5 months ago
I have a feeling it may be the engine oil as it has been about 11 months since I last changed it although I have not done much mileage. Otherwise possible boost solenoid? |
