For me the only reason I won't tint is that the edges of the glass have those black dots. I haven't seen a tint job where the materials and those black dots look good....

Problem definitely is finding one though. I had 3 cars tinted before I finally found a guy who was up to my expectations.

And I use these guys:
http://eliteglasstinting.net/index.html Awful awful website that will make you think they are selling drugs, but the work is top notch and the price isn't bad at all.

tint, but make sure you do the following:
Ceramic tint is worth the extra $ Find an installer that can do the BMW dimple windows, it takes extra work, maybe some kind of glue. Post pics

I have tinted every car i have owned.
Tinting will reduce your interior temperature and reduce interior fade If you are still nervous about tinting, go with a lighter tint, you can go darker on your next car if you like the idea of tinting One word of advice, dont go witn a cheap tint, it will turn purple and blister over time |

I'm definitely getting my 1er tinted. Virginia is pretty strict with what is legal and what's "too dark" - but I figure getting the maximum of 35% rear, 50% front will be better than the OEM "fishbowl" effect.

The car looks good from that angle, but it's hard to see the tint clearly. How dark did you go? What tint did you use?

LOL. For some reason, only your first pic was showing up. Now I see the rest. But still interested in what you used.
