Exclamation Comfort Access Bug?

I am trying to resolve an issue with my Comfort Access. Here it goes:

If I am able to lock the doors by touching the pads I am then able to unlock the doors via the pads. Sometimes the doors will not lock by touching the pads so I just lock them with the key.

This is where it goes awry - well besides not being able to lock via the touch pads in the first place. If I lock the doors via the key I cannot come back and unlock them via the pads. The car keeps trying to lock the doors even though they are already locked. I have to use the key again or I cannot get into the car.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, what has been done to remedy it?

I have that issue as well sometimes. Of course I cannot replicate it when I am at the dealer. I have switched keys, changed batteries moved the key from my left to my right pocket. I still randomly get the no key message.

Unlock by slipping your hand around the handle (gentle grab without pulling) as though you were going to open the door. Only lock is activated by touching the ribbed pad on the door handle.

I have tried that as well. It still only works intermittently.

I haven't had your issue, but I did have trouble starting the 1er this evening at the airport. It kept telling me the key wasn't present.
